Dulverton

Template:Infobox UK place Dulverton is a village in the heart of West Somerset, England, near the border with Devon. The town has a population of 1,630 (2002 estimate).

Dulverton has several small industries and the housing consists of old Victorian houses and modern houses and bungalows to the north. It is a popular tourist destination for people exploring Exmoor, as well as being the site of the Exmoor National Park Authority headquarters. In the centre of Dulverton, there is a large recreation field, that recently underwent a serious revamp by local people including Dulverton Middle school students, under a Barclays new Futures scheme, which included 8 students, lead by various students. Running through Dulverton is also the River Barle.

2 miles from Dulverton is the smaller village of Brushford where the Dulverton railway station on the Taunton to Barnstaple line used to be. The station buildings are still visible and it is clear where the lines used to run as the railway embankment is still visible and worn in places although the rails have been lifted.
