The Diocese of Gibraltar was created in 1842. At that time, it covered all Anglican chaplaincies from Portugal to the Caspian Sea. In 1980 the Diocese was amalgamated with the Jurisdiction of North and Central Europe and renamed the Diocese of Gibraltar in Europe. It is divided into seven archdeaconries:
- The Eastern Archdeaconry, consisting of:

- The Archdeaconry of Germany and Northern Europe (current archdeacon: Mark Oakley), consisting of:
- The Archdeaconry of Gibraltar, consisting of:
